Description

This Nepali incense rope is made up of herbs found in the high Himalayas and is abundantly used in Stupas, Temples and drawing rooms for aromatic ambience.

This Rhododendron and Juniper rope is beautiful. Rhododendron is known for its sweet, floral, and slightly woody scent, Juniper with its fresh, crisp, and slightly pine-like scent, adds a purifying and invigorating touch. Togehter they bring a soothing and tranquil aroma that helps to calm the mind and uplift the spirit.

Incense ropes are made by hand in a process that involves bundling the ingredients in a special hand prepared rice paper, then rolling and twisting it into a small rope-like braided form. The rope should be burnt in a marble or metal dish,  or on an ash bed, a special incense burner. This rope type of incense can produce a substantial amount of smoke, and it can quickly overpower a small room so use it sparingly.
