Description
This Nepali incense rope is made up of herbs found in the high Himalayas and is abundantly used in Stupas, Temples and drawing rooms for aromatic ambience.
The aroma of the burning camphor purifies the air around, which helps in bringing peace to the mind, body, and spirit. In most parts of India, the Hindus perform aarti every morning and evening. During the aarti, camphor is burned to remove the spiritual negativity around us.
Incense ropes are made by hand in a process that involves bundling the ingredients in a special hand prepared rice paper, then rolling and twisting it into a small rope-like braided form. The rope should be burnt in a marble or metal dish, or on an ash bed, a special incense burner. This rope type of incense can produce a substantial amount of smoke, and it can quickly overpower a small room so use it sparingly.
Time of burning one rope is approx 15min.
