Aventurine

Aventurine is a variety of quartz which is usually green (most common), but is also found in blue, red, orange, brown and yellow varieties, that is often (but not always) speckled with tiny inclusions that create a shimmering effect known as “aventurescence.” These shimmering inclusions are usually mica, hematite, or goethite—within the stone.

Most Aventurine is linked to a chakra, but the chakra it is linked to depends on the colour of the stone. Green Aventurine is linked with the Heart Chakra and promotes emotional healing, compassion, love, and calmness. Yellow Aventurine is linked with the Solar Plexus Chakra and boosts personal power, confidence, motivation, and creativity. Orange Aventurine works with the Sacral Chakra to enhance creativity, sensuality, emotional expression, and joy and the less common Blue Aventurine is linked with the Throat Chakra, supporting communication, truth-telling, and emotional expression.
