Protection Dream Catcher

It is commonly agreed that dreamcatchers began with The Anishinaabe peoples who are a group of culturally related Indigenous peoples present in the Great Lakes region of Canada and the United States.

They have spread to different areas of the world and have become a part of tradition and culture in many places.

All dreamcatchers share common features and a common purpose but there are different types of dreamcatchers. For example, some have 8 or 13 points, there can be different colours, they can be made from or include different materials and many of these differences have cultural and spiritual connotations.

In many ancient cultures the Evil Eye is a symbol of protection against evil. This combination of Dream Catcher and Evil Eye invokes the magic of both.

You may wish to hang it in the bedroom to protect against evil nightmares – the good dreams pass through the dream catcher and the bad get tangled in the web and perish with the first light of dawn.

Hand made with macrame details and natural rattan frames. A beautifully crafted dream catcher in a vibrant design.
